Published by the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, this second edition published with assistance of The Art Foundation of Tasmania. 250g.

Sadly, a rather thin book. Says it all, really.

Many colour plates of artwork and photographs of items from the museum itself, maps detailing tribes and movement.

While re-visiting Tasmania in May '89, I actively looked for books with reference to Aboriginal history, and this one seemed to be written with sympathetic detail.
