I was kind of distracted by how similar the book is to a Stephanie Plum story. From the wacky relatives to the big-haired, tight-clothed heroine. I will read more from the series but I hope the author finds away to make the books more her own.

I didn't realize I never caught this! Thanks for sharing, rebekkila! This was a good distraction on the stationary bike, but other than that sadly nowhere near as good as The Cinderella Pact. I felt like I was reading a slightly cleaner version of Stephanie Plum (Janet Evanovich), with Bubbles' mom and friend Sandy taking the place of Lula.

Distractions from the bike are always welcome, though, so thanks!
