Well, this is a mystery!
I have absolutely no idea how this book has come to be with me. I live in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and don't know anyone in Germany!
I have a friend who is interested in reading this book, as it doesn't, from first appearances, seem like my kind of reading, but if it's meant to be somewhere else, I'm happy to pass it on, albeit by surface.

Memorable characters. Well crafted plot. Sufficiently well disguised ending.
Passed to us by a friend to whom we shall now return it. A great holiday read for husband and wife.
