A cute little volume of tea and friendship related poems, quotes, etc. I picked it up intending to send it on in the tea box should it ever get to me.

I'm enjoying this little book with my own morning tea, drunk late, as we have the day off due to the snow storm that passed this way. The snow is done, but the back roads that buses must travel are still impassable. This was a nice two day vacation!
This box came yesterday in the height of the storm. And the mail-lady got stuck in the road in front of our mail box! The HH was home and offered to dig her out, but she had to wait for the 'official" tow truck to pull her out, as she was in the Gov't mail truck.
So it's true: Neither Rain nor Snow ....
I copied the Mock Devonshire Cream recipe and shared it with the ladies from the Uncrushable Jersey Dress. I'll let you know how we like it. Fun Little Book.

Traveling with the Tea Box to IMAWINN2
It's interesting to see this little volume back since I'd expected it would disappear along the way. I'm entertained by how well traveled the book has become.
Today I received 'the tea-chest' full of a huge amount of different teas.
I haven't had chance yet to 'explore' but will very soon & am sure will find some lovely surprises.

Put this into post this morning & is now on it's way to next in line for 'some fun'.
I throughly enjoyed browsing thru. all the wonderful teas & reading the journal entries.
Lot's of lovely surprises but have to admit that my favourite teas were the Numi ones. I had never heard of Numi teas & will be getting online to try to buy some ASAP.
Would have liked to keep the box a little longer but am going away soon & wanted to make sure it got to the next person in line... (hopefully sometime in the future it will make another 'tour').
When packaging it up last night I realised that in its last journey the bottom of the box got broken pretty badly. The only other box I had available was one of the P.O. Priority Boxes. SO, I put the contents into this box & mailed it. This probably made postage costs slightly more expensive, so if another bookcrosser has a better box for transfer they may want to consider this option.
Thanks again for arranging this box & hope might see it back again next year ??!!.

This little book arrived in the tea exchange bookbox.
Reading the recipes for the tea sandwiches make me long for a nice afternoon tea. I also enjoy the tea-related quotes, my favorite being Samuel Johnson: "...with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight, and with tea welcomes the morning."
