Welcome to BookCrossing!
Thanks for taking the time to read my journal. The book you've found is now yours, no strings attached! You can keep it forever or read it and pass it along like I did. It would be great though, if you could take the time to write a quick note so that I know it found a new home. You can stay annoynomous or sign up. It is free to join and no one gets your email address (plus no spam). If you sign up you will also get notifications if anyone else journals about this book, which is exciting. Please consider using Crossing-Guard as your referring member if you do sign up. Who knows how far this book will travel...

After having this on my shelf for a long time I thought I should finally read it and I have to say "why did I wait so long". This book is unlike anything I have read in a long time. It was both hopeful and sad at the same time. Beautifully written!
I was hoping to finish this in time for the best sellers and award winners meeting but unfortunately that just didn't happen. February's meeting is mysteries, I guess there is a mystery here...

Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing February meet-up. This is one of those books you mean to read but never get around to, so finally, I'll get around to reading it.
I was sort of disappointed with the ending. You go the entire book, hoping they catch the killer and they really don't. But I guess that's not the point of the book. It's about Susie's family and friends. I want to watch the movie for this one, too.

Retrieved from the Bookcrossing meeting for now.
I am returning this to the Calgary Bookcrossing Group so it can find a new friend.
Apparently, I haven't read the book! Must have just seen the movie. Picked up at the special Rachel meeting...
Picked up at the extra 'Rachel' meeting. Good to see everyone.
This has been sitting on my shelf for awhile! I am doing a bookcrossing bingo and square 23 was to read a book that was made into a movie. This fit the bill.
I enjoyed the book, mostly the first half though. The second half dragged for me. I think that is because I had seen the movie and it covered 5he first half. I was wondering where the boom was heading.

I am taking this book to our monthly bookcrossers meet up at Cravings - the second Saturday of every month- to pass on to the next reader.
Picked up at the April meeting
Different take on the classic ghost story, one that follows the aftermath of a tragic murder not just on the victim's friends and family, but the victim and killer as well.
I don't think I've ever read a book before where the narrator was deceased. Making someone who dies in the first chapter the protagonist was a really interesting choice. Also insightful were seeing the ripple effects of the loss of Susie's life on her friends and family in addition their initial grief following her death.
Picked up at November meeting. Haven't read it yet.
Got this from L-Marie so that I could get it back into circulation.
I am adding this to Book Box 1 so that it can find a new reader. This is our solution to COVID and not being able to meet in person. Hopefully it will find a new reader.
