I recently moved into my boyfriend's flat. As a true test of how much he loves me, he agreed to give away many of his own books in order to make room for mine. Awww...
This is one of those discarded books. I hope it has a good journey and finds many new readers.

Taken from the book table at the end of the Edinburgh unconvention.
An interesting read with many a twist to the tale, many of which I didn't see coming so that made the story more ...enjoyable may not be the right word. The author's style of writing is set up well, with a flash backs being used extensively in a seemingly random way.
I laughed out loud at some of the interaction between the main character and her family, especially when she opened her stocking at christmas.
Not a book for the easily shocked. The author seems to have done a lot of research on gender reassignment surgery, drug addiction, and plastic surgery following traumatic body disfiguration.

What a surprise! Thank you so much!
At first I thought I could never finish this, it all just seemed so weird. After few chapters I caught the story and when the pieces eventually started to click, everything made sense and I was hooked. I liked this book very much, thank you KiwiinEngland for the opportunity to read this.
I saw the book at the meeting in Helsinki tonight and put it into my rucksack because I am curious about Chuck Palahniuk. I have heard about him, but never read any book by him. Now I can do it.
Thank you all for the book! I'll let the book continue its travels after I have read it.

Happy reading!
Happy reading!
I read the book. It was about the kind people and the kind of living which don't interest me at all. But there was something about the style of writing which made the book interesting after all. There were many twists and turns and nothing was what it seemed to be.
