A very odd and somewhat discomforting book. Uses the contrast of eastern and western philosophies to build a battle bewteen representatives of both types and alien forces in conflict with themselves.
The pieces of Buddhist philosophy that begin each chapter summarize the theme of the chapter but are also interesting in and of themselves.
