I found this book on the Epping bound train near Reservoir station. Unfortunately I'm a bit too busy atm to start on such a massive tome. My mother was visiting on her way to Bankok and Vietnam and saw it on my bookshelf, telling me how much she enjoyed reading it many years ago. Seeing my chance I gave it to her and asked her to release it somewhere on her travels.
Lets see how it goes in the big wide world.

One of my favourite books by Iris Murdoch. It moves slowly, slowly until you find yourself completely engrossed and affected. I read it many years ago.
It was given to me by my son who found it on a train in Melbourne. I left it on a coffee table in a little hotel in Hoi Anh, Vietnam. The friendly staff at the Nhi Nhi Hotel agreed to leave it there and not to tidy it away. The next morning it had gone so it will be interesting to see if it surfaces again.
