I really enjoyed this book, it was sweet and easy to read. I had selected this book because I have my very own circle of "sister-chicks" and we'd often used that phrase before I even knew about the book, so when I saw it I HAD to buy it. I liked the two characters and found myself comparing my own friendships to the one described in this book.
I have added this book to the First Sentences Virtual Bookbox. We will see who claims it!
Note: I did not know that the book had a slight religious (Christian) tone to it when I bought it, or even when I added it to the first sentences bookbox. So my apologies to the next reader if that makes them uncomfortable. It's definately there, but not in a preachy way and it doesn't distort the storyline at all. As someone raised in the Christian church, I found that I know many people who are like the characters in this book, so it wasn't an unusual or uncomfortable thing for me, even though I haven't been to church in years.
