I have now read his first two novels. The way he really gets you involved with the story is so awesome. With both books, there are times when I just had to put them down because what I just read was so powerful, that I had to let it all sink in. And the perspective he gives you about the war really makes you see it from a different point of view. I do understand now why we as Americans are over there, and I hope that we are doing more good than harm. Thank you Khaled for giving your people a voice and being heard. Maybe now they, as a people, will rise up. And stand up. Take their country back. Especially the women and children. They seem to be the one's suffering the most. It really makes me appreciate where I am from, and where I live. And even though we have a lot of problems, we could be so much worse off.
May peace come to them in my lifetime....
