The Three Miss Margarets
1 journaler for this copy...
Hello!
And welcome to BookCrossing.com, thanks for checking in. Please feel free to read the book (or not read the book) it's yours to enjoy.
Many, many books are travelling to new homes, both locally and internationally with their journeys being tracked through BookCrossing.com so please journal your 'capture' (you can remain anonymous if you wish) and even consider joining the site. It's free and you will hear about other books being released near you and have the opportunity to release your own books if you desire.
If you are already a Book Crosser, thanks for picking up the book.
Please, please, please make a journal entry so the original owner and future readers can track this book's journey. Happy reading and Happy Crossing!
I acquired additional copies of this book so my book club could read and discuss the Three Miss Margarets. This is what I thought of the book when I first read it:
Wow, what a great story. I loved the way it unfolded in small bite sized pieces. I did struggle initially a little with who's who, and by chapter 11 I had sketched a sort of family tree on a piece of scrap paper to work out where the characters had been and how they were connected. In saying that, it wasn't a hard read - I think it was mostly because I was reading in bed at night and I was really tired so the characters weren't sticking like the usually would.
This story really made me think about the power of ones reputation, and how one decision can affect so many different things for so many people.
Oh, and I am still trying to figure out what the relevence was of those things in the box that belonged to Laurels mother - I might have missed something there.
