A great book, comparable to Catch-22 in the way it satires and punctures pompous bureaucracy. I read this years ago and bought this again, a new harcover, to re-read and re-enjoy.

Received today. Thanks! I sent your package off today; I hope everything makes it there intact. I had to hurry to package it at work, and I didn't have anything for padding. Keeping my fingers crossed for a safe and gentle journey.
Took me awhile to really get into it, but then I was hooked. Good humor and I liked the ending--doesn't happen often.
Finally had to let this go via donating to the Friends of the Library for the book sales. Hey, tom-m. I agree with you that I don't like the new website. Coldn't find how to contact you via pm, so I thought that I would communicate through this journal entry. Sorry that you left, but if you would like to communicate, you can reach me at weshook at hotmail dot com. Feel free, I enjoyed sending you food.
