A friend handed it to me & said she enjoyed it. Her daughter who is going to Afganistan with the military had given it to her to read.
It is my favorite kind of book; one that tells me how real people live their day to day lives in different cultures. The oppression women and children suffer made this one difficult to read at times, but I am sure it gives an accurate picture of the Afganistan way of life.
