Thanks for a thoughtful book - sorry my wishlist was a bit difficult (I had trouble with my recipient's too!)! And for the choc and postcards - I don't do PostCrossing but I *do* always send a postcard in every book I sent out to people, and I send a lot of books out - much appreciated!
Happy Easter!

Narrative of his journey through the mountains to the sea. Well and amusingly written (and seems to be by him rather than ghosted!) and a lot of excellent photos! Thanks again for the NSS!

I picked this one up at the last meetup and am looking forward to it. The Himalayas is an area I'm very interested in, so I was thrilled to find the book. Might take it with me, when I go to Vienna in July.

I read this very slowly but surely during the final stages of my PhD. It was nice to spend 5 minutes here and there delving into the landscapes of the himalayans and not worry about high temperature oxidation. But maybe the long drawn out style of reading also meant that I thought the book was a bit short and not quite as good as the film.
