~put in books that are in good state of use
~don't use the box to "get rid of" books, but rather to pass along ones you think others might enjoy!
~ and lastly and most important...ENJOY!
General "Rules" for my BookBoxes
(adapted from many people met on bookcrossing!)
- All books should be labeled with a BCID.
- Remove the books you want and replace with an equal number.
- Journal on the books you took out of the box
- PM the next person to get their mailing information.
[Note: even if you've sent books to that person before, please PM them before mailing this one, to confirm that the address is correct and that they're able to take on something at this time.]
- If there is no reply after multiple attempts, please skip to the next name on the list.
- Send via media mail to keep costs down. Delivery confirmation is at your discretion, but I like it for tracking.
- If the box doesn't look like it's going to make it to the next destination, feel free to replace it.
- Have fun and keep on bookcrossing!
"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."

Box arrived yesterday. Thanks!
The box came while I was out of commission so it took me a longer than normal time to deal with it. I have replaced the box itself.
I took out:
Ruth Rendell's "A Sight for Sore Eyes" and replaced it with Debbie Macomber's "The Shop on Blossom Street." I will be sending it on to 300dogs tomorrow.

The bookbox arrived yesterday in New Jersey. The side was completely split open but I don't think any books were lost. I will hunt down a replacement box. I haven't had time to look thru it yet and we have friends coming for the holiday weekend so I probably won't get to this until next week.

Box arrived yesterday, unfortunately had to sit outside in some rain. Fortunately, damage appears minimal - I'll comment more when I've dug through all the books. But least you all know the box is safely here.
I am choosing:
- Luck, by Joan Barfoot
- Last Seen Wearing, by Colin Dexter
- All Souls, by Michael Patrick MacDonald
- Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley
- Katie.com, by Katherine Tarbox
- Sylvia and Ted, by Emma Tennant
And replacing with:
- The Overlook, by Michael Connelly
- The Coma, by Alex Garland
- The Face, by Angela Hunt
- Avalon, by Stephen Lawhead
- I'm Not Julia Roberts, by Laura Ruby
- Sort of Rich, by James Wilcox
Lots of good stuff - thanks to all. I have PM'd jennyC1230 and will mail the box as soon as she sends me her address. It got kind of soggy, so I probably will replace it.
