Hanged at Auschwitz: An Extraordinary Memoir of Survival
3 journalers for this copy...
Everyone should read this book, a first hand account by French Jew and member of the resistance Sim Kessel of life in the Auschwitz concentration camp. His story of survival is truly remarkable and the horrific things that happen to him and others are hard to comprehend, leaving you asking why and how could this happen? The most astonishing thing about his story is that he somehow survived to tell it, millions of others didn't.
This is a disturbing, yet powerful and moving book, which should be essential reading for everyone in the hope that the world never allows this to happen ever again.

Fascinating memoir of an Auschwitz survivor. Completely agree with DryKid's comments.
