In 1960s Nigeria, a country blighted by civil war, three lives intersect. Ugwu, a boy from a poor village, works as a houseboy for a university lecturer. I have tried this book a couple of times, but can't seem to get all the way through. Some if really holds my attention but then just as quickley it's gone again. I hope it finds a good home.
