Set in rural South West Scotland (Galloway) this is the story of Paul Mackie, a maverick field archaeologist. It's a thriller and a love story all rolled into one. The novel takes the reader on an exploration of the links between past, present and future, through the dimensions of the personality, questioning time's linearity and exploring the myth of external reality.
