Drawing on the Gay Experience

This is a wonderful collection of Gerard Donelan's cartoons from "The Advocate". His gay and lesbian protagonists are all drawn in a delightfully wide-eyed-innocent (or not-so-innocent) style that's very sweet, even when the subject matter gets spicy.

I'm adding this to the LGBTQ+ bookbox, which will be on its way to its next stop soon. Enjoy!
Like, omigod, this cover is like a total 80's flashback, tight pink alligator shirt with stand-up collar and all!
Read, enjoyed, and put back into emmejo's LGBTQ+ box.
Regarding one of the cartoons: around the time this book came out, I had a TA who was also an EMT. He told us about a gentleman who had to be taken to the ER because he passed out - his pants were too tight and cut off all his circulation! They had to cut the pants off. :p

Monday, October 16: sending this one back out in emmejo's LGBTQ+ box - happy reading!

(Think of it like Where's George for books: a little like geocaching or a treasure hunt - you can follow a registered book's journey every time someone makes a new entry. Some BookCrossers even leave books *in* geocaches!)

This book rode to the end of the bookbox.
One of the books starting out in The Anthology Assortment Bookbox This is pushing the definition a bit, but I wanted to include some more comics.
I was pleased to see this comic collection in the Anthology bookbox; I'm taking it back for a re-read!
