This was the first book by Anna Quindlen that I ever read and I've been hooked on her writing ever since. It's a wonderfully told coming-of-age story and I hope you like it as much as I did.

went last night to Harbour House near Spadina to meet with Jessibud,Jackie,bookgirrl, Bucklesboot in honour of a mini meet up with KISMET visiting from Winnipeg. Nice Place. After reading about ten pages I finally realized I had read this book and enjoyed it.

The Cabbagetown festival is on this weekend so dropping a bunch of books at my favourite pub Ben Wicks. It is south on Carlton Street on the East side almost at Gerrard. You can't miss it. The festival is a lot of fun with lots of yuppie garage sales and arts and crafts and artisans showing their wares in and around Riverdale farm. Lots of entertainment. Streets are closed on Parliament from Gerrard To Wellesley. It really draws a crowd every year.
