Abridged. Read by Eric Stoltz. 6 hours. 4 cassettes.
Amazon:
In 1927, Charles Augustus Lindbergh made the world smaller when, at 25, he completed his fabled flight from New York to Paris. He spent the rest of his life watching the world close in around him. Actor Eric Stoltz smoothly captures A. Scott Berg's erudite prose, impressive narrative drive, and fascinating minutiae, and by doing so earns an intense sympathy for and understanding of Lindbergh's relentless need for privacy and his frustration at losing it to his worldwide fame.

I picked this out of sp4home's Cassette Audio bookbox. This will appeal to my love of historical reads. Thanks for putting this box together. It was fun to go through.
This was a very interesting listen. It was hard to put down. I, of course, knew of some of the stories about "Lindy" but never knew what a complex man he was. Scott Berg did a great job writing about the Lindbergh family and handling the more personal and tragic events. Thanks for sharing!
Sending this to book_drunkard as part of a cassette audiobook trade.
Received yesterday.
Thanks for swapping with me.
Looking forward to listening to this.

Listened to this audio book with my hubby and we both found it very interesting.
I was surprised by how little he knew about "Lucky Lindy" and I think he may have been a little impressed by how much of the story that I already knew. (And that I had read Anne's book - Gift from the Sea.)
