I read this after a good friend highly recommended it. It was good, but not as good as I was expecting with all the recent hype. I found Bella's obsession with Edward a little overdone at times, and overall, I found the story to be relatively predictable. It is an interesting twist on the vampire genre, and I'll probably read the rest of the series just to see what happens to the characters. For now, this copy is going to my middle school classroom library. In the last two years teaching, I don't think one day has gone by without one of these books being in my room with a female student. :)
