This was better than I'd hoped, and I hoped quite a bit. I zipped through the 325 pages in 3 days.
This is a tour through Dante's vision of hell. Along the way we meet many famous people, from Sylvia Plath (a main character) to Carl Sagan and Leon Trotsky. There are dicussions of the nature of hell, of good and evil and what it takes to get out of hell.
This is a sequel toa book called Inferno by the ssame two authors. You do not need to have read that, nor the original source by Dante. You can get all you need from the context.
I have loaned this book to my friend Stephanie. After she returns it it will be available for trade within the US.
