Died in the Wool: A Knitting Mystery (Knitting Mysteries)
11 journalers for this copy...
This is a fun and interesting mystery about a knitting-related murder. We get to know the main character Ari and her close friends, but there's not much character development going on. The story mainly focuses on the dialogue between charcters and keeping the action moving. It's a good pageturner, and there is a new revelation at the end of each chapter which keeps the pace of the story going and makes you want to carry on reading. A quick and easy read, good for anyone with a love of crafts and knitting. There are also 3 free knitting patterns at the end of the book, suitable for knitters of any skill level.
If you are a fast reader I'm sure you could get through both books in a week or two, but I know many of us have these things called "lives" that tend to get in the way, so I'd say that keeping for a max. of 4-6 weeks is reasonable.
PM me if there are any problems, other than that - HAPPY READING!

I mailed both of the books in this ring to NMReader today. I hope they travel quickly and safely!
The characters were interesting and well rounded. The story filled with interesting knitting and yarn references.
The plot was interesting with out being unfair and while I knew who the murderer was before I quite understood the why, I was pleasantly entertained and can't wait to read the 2nd book in the series.

I had a crazy week with very little sleep, thus had a hard time getting into this book. It reminded me alot of Monica Ferris' Needlwork series and also of Diane Mott Davidson's Catering series. I did figure out "who done it" early. I wished-well, I better not spoil it for anyone else:) I do look forward to reading the next one in the series.
put in the mail to NancyNova
i will post a j/e when I start reading. Thanks!
Sending off to the next reader in this ray! Enjoy.

Thanks for your PM's letting me know that chucklesthescot's father is ill so she is not around at the moment. Unfortunately I have just posted them to cambridgelass who was next on the list.
Kryssa - I can't PM you from you page, so I hope you read this. Could you add chucklesthescott to the end of the list in case she still wants to read these? I'll PM her today with my apologies and telling her I've asked you to move her on the list.
Thanks,
Kirkles.
Just a bit of fun reading to pass a day or two, not to taxing. It took me back to my teenage years of reading point horror so that was good fun.
Just finishing off the other book.
