The book is about Sandy Shortt an Irish girl who at 10 years old has an obsession with finding things ever since a neighbourhood girl mysteriously disappears without a trace. She used to work for the police but switches to running her own private company tracking down missing persons as a living. Then a new client Jack Ruttle appears, looking for his younger brother who went missing a few years ago. He pleads for Sandy’s help and she agrees. However Sandy did not expect to become lost herself while going on an early morning jog and strays too far out in the forest, stumbling upon a strange parallel universe where every missing thing seems to be. Readers will have to step outside the boundaries of reality, and enter a world where missing people and possessions from all over the globe come together to start anew.
