17-year-old Quincie, an orphan, lives with her uncle. Her best friend is a hybrid-werewolf. When Quincie and her uncle are about to open a vampire-themed restaurant, their chef is brutally murdered. Henry Johnson is hired as the vampire chef, and he seems to be perfect in this role.

Danke fürs Schicken. Das muss ich jetzt ganz schnell noch lesen, denn nächste Woche soll es mit der Box schon losgehen, aber Tantalize muss da unbedingt noch rein.
I can't help to think of New Moon, but Tatanlize seems a bit darker. And both Creatures, may it be Werecreatures (not just Werewolfes but Werecats, Wereamadillos, Wereanything) or Vampires don't seem to be inherently evil, but not your nice safe friends either.
A nice respite from those sexy Vampires that strife to safe the world. Thanks NorthernLights for this book.

I liked this book. It was a mixture of a little bit Sookie Stackhouse (many different werepeople and Quincie between a werewolf and a vampire) and the story of Bella and Edward (again - between werewolf and vampire). Quincie is more grown up than Bella, so if you liked Bellas story, but now you're somehow older and less romantic, you'll like Quincie too. And this time - no, this would be a spoiler (c:
