Max is a killer who claims to have a multiple personality disorder which may affect his sentence. Irene Cogan is appointed by the court to discover if he is lying. One problem. Max may also be a serial killer known to stalk pretty redheads...just like Irene. But she is safe with him behind bars. Isn't she?

A Silence of the Lambs style thriller.

Received this book in the post as a RAK - what a nice surprise to win the draw! It looks like an interesting little thriller so hopefully it'll be a good read - haven't experienced this author yet. Many thanks to chucklesthescot for passing this on to me!

I've just finished reading this book yesterday and it was fanastic! I am not usually a big fan of crime/thriller books but this one seemed different and had some interesting characters. The DID was a really interesting aspect to the story and I loved Agent Pender's journey while trying to solve the case. I did question whether or not I wanted Irene to survive, but in the end I was rooting for her and loved the fast-paced dramatic conclusion. The epilouge was creepy, but expected. Passing this on to the other half to read.
