Two bears have come to live in the flat upstairs. Nice bears. Scared bears. Bears who don't want to be found out. Why have they come, and where have they come from? And how did they get here, into the city?
Wendy befriends them and, indeed, without her help, they will never be able to accomplish their mission - to escape to another planet where they will be forever free. Keeping her two unusual friends secret involves all kinds of practical difficulties for Wendy, and the strain soon begins to tell. Her schoolfriends, her teacher and her mother suspect that something curious is going on and, when the bears' plans start to go awry, every ounce of Wendy's courage and resource is needed to effect the final rescue.
Purchased at a Salvation Army store, specifically for BookCrossing.
