Death of Vishnu
1 journaler for this copy...
I read this book 6 or 7 years ago and don't remember much about it. It's set in India and the central character is dying outside a building where several shallow, callous people live. He bears witness to their lives and there's a lot of metaphor and allegory and Hindu religion tied in. I can remember not liking it too much but the back cover seems to indicate good reviews so perhaps it's just me. I know I'm writing all these negative reviews, but the truth is that I read a lot of books and a lot of different types of books and when the books I read are really good, I keep them for myself!!
