Hope this comes up to the same high standard as other Alice Hoffman books I have read.

Another excellent read from Alice Hoffman. A great story, beautifully written. So many places I stopped and read the line again. Example - "In Charlotte's opinion, suffering is not the border on the outer edges of one's life, but the cloth itself, elegantly stitched on one side, crude and miserably sewn on the other." I have not yet read a bad Alice Hoffman book.
