Its been awhile since I've read a John Grisham book and I'm glad I did. I thought "The Last Juror" was a pretty good read. Its about a small town and their newspaper editor. There's a horrific murder and the story goes from there. One thing different then most Grisham books is this story doesn't revolve around a lawyer or lawyers. If you're a fan of Grisham, I think you'll like it.
I look forward to reading your thoughts on this book and finding out where you got it from.

This one came in the mail - in a big box of books - today. THANX A BUNCH!
Just finished this one. I haven't read Grisham for years and he did not disappoint. This book is different than I remember the ones I've read in the past in that it was not so legal heavy and more a narrative of small town life.
On its way to San Diego!
I love Grisham's books, but haven't read this one, so I was thrilled when you agreed to a trade. Thanks so much for getting it to me so quickly, ciloma.

Newspaper editor Willie Traynor comes to small-town Clanton, Mississippi just before a horrendous murder occurs. Danny, the son of the notorious, sleazy Padgitt clan, is convicted and threatens the jurors. When he is paroled 9 years later, sure enough, the slaughter of jurors begins.
A story about the affairs of a small town, with lots of character development and a little suspense thrown in.
