One of my favorite series of dragon stories. Here dragons are not necessarily magical creatures, but creatures bred for the benefit of, and benefiting from, humans, similar in some ways to thoroughbred horses as we know them today. Controversial, intelligent, sometimes dangerous, these dragons are not your usual medieval treasure hoarders. Yet they are powerful characters in their own right.
