This is one of those earth shattering books. When you read what Michelangelo had to go through just to do the only thing he really wanted to do it gives you an appreciation for his work.
I am sending this to JDT. I hope she enjoys it.
Really looking forward to re-reading this classic that has stayed in my mind since reading it years ago.
It's a substantial book @ 700 pages, but our
new interest in Italy - from a wonderful trip there last spring and plans to return next fall- only adds to the excitement and motivation to read it again.
