Received from my Mum's bookclub for releasing.
I am very confused because I know I bought a musty copy of this from a garage sale in Gisborne a few years ago. I cannot find it on my bookshelf but nevertheless, I know I read and enjoyed the story of Nancy. The writing was not very exciting but her war time exploits made up for it.
Now it's off on a journey to New Zealand for annenz who I look forward to meeting in Greymouth.

edited 15/5/09 I discovered the other book - written by Nancy herself - here is my journal from it
"Although this book was not well written; it was the ramblings of a quite elderly Nancy Wake, it was still an interesting read. She certainly led an adventurous life and was particularly brave during the Second World War with her undercover activities. I was amazed to read that she had left Australia as a very young woman in the 30's and became quite a playgirl in her early years in London and Paris - she certainly seemed to be way before her time!"
