Found on memorial to doctor who provided service to the people of the Culverden area. Never heard of Bookcrossing B4 so thought I'd have a go. Not really that much of reader nowadays so took a long time getting started but don't like to give up so eventually got to end. Overall thought book left me feeling let down..as a bloke I was looking forward to a good war yarn-albeit perhaps with a bit of a pre-amble filling in the characters B4 the fighting started. What I got was a book mostly of preamble with a bit of the fight at the end. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a good war yarn - maybe to some soap opera buff who will skip the end bit when the fighting starts.Planning to release book at bus stop on Memorial Ave, Christchurch which is on route to airport.

Will release at the Christchurch International Airport and see wher it finds its way to.
