unlike other New Jedi Order books, Traitor tells the story of just one starwars character, jacen solo, the son of han solo and princess leia. he is captured by fanatic yuuzhan vong but taken under the wing of vergere, an ancient and practiced jedi, who teaches him intricacies of the force that are unknown even to luke skywalker, the last jedi masters. portions of the story read more like philosophy than science fiction.
