first book of the Kelly Flynn series

Finally I took the time to read the book (especially because Rianonne wants to read it as well!).
Once again (again, because I read the second part befoer the first one!) the story is convincing and shows the typical American way of living (coffee at every corner and coffee addicted people).
It also lets everyone participate in the lust of knitting - I am already considering what I might knit for myself...

As additional good the murderer of Aunt Helen is solved - without brutal action and car races, but with colorful wool and brain.

Thanks so much for bringing this littler treasure along. I'll read it as soon as possible, promise!
I just finished knitting a scarf, so I might get addicted to this series ;-)

I felt that this first book in a new series has started very well and is very promising.
There is room to develop the characters in the sequels but they are already nice enough to like them and feel at home in the beautiful yarn shop. Sefton's vivid descriptions of the sensory appeal of knitting is wonderful! It was a good, light read that nicely tied into my newfound love of knitting :-)
