It's been a while since I read this book. If I remember correctly it is average Pratchett quality occasionally funny sometimes hilarious. Fortunately I haven't read all that Pratchett has written because I think his humour would be numbing after a while.
My favorite joke in this book it's the one about harp and lyre :) You can find it in page 27.

I released this book to chirel. Let's see where it goes next :)
The book waits to be read any day now.

This book is still waiting for that "any day" Chirel mentioned, simply because I advised her to read Mort first. Too bad we don't have it... *hint hint*
However, I read it myself, having already read Mort. The reason for my advice to Chirel is that this book is clearly a sequel to that first Death novel (and to a smaller extent, to Reaper man). Events in Mort are constantly referred to throughout the book. Also, it is a bad sequel in a Hollywood way: the idea about a human taking over Death's function is repeated and we see all the same jokes again. One half of the book is pure dejá vu.
Fortunately, the other half of the book is quite hilarious parody about rock music and the music business, in the manner of Moving Pictures. The adventures of The Band With Rocks In and the breathtaking amount of clever little puns and jokes make this book worth reading.

This was the funniest Pratchett book I've read. (I haven't read that many yet.)
Otin tämän takaisin päällystämistä varten.
It left today towards Tuz, Brazil.
I received today. Thanks, Monke! I'm looking forward to reading it :)

Just to let you know the book is safe with me, I got it as a RABCK from Tuz (it's been a loong time, but I totally forgot to make a journal entry, sorry about that). It'll take me a while to read it, even more because my sister wants to read it too. But as soon as we're finished, I'll let it go ;-)
So I finally took this one from my TBR pile, and it was good. Actually, it was delicious ;-) It was my first Terry Pratchett book, and I had a lot of fun with it.
I plan to send it off for a bookray, or maybe a RABCK, as soon as my sister reads it.

My sister has read the book, and then she lent it to a friend. I'll see if one of them wants to journal this book.
Happy New Year, everybody!
Happy New Year, everybody!

Hey everybody!
I've kept this book longer than I expected, sorry about that. Recently I've decided to do a RABCK with it, but that was harder than I thought. My plan was to fulfill someone else's wish, so I searched people's wishlists and sent PM's offering the book - and I didn't received any answers! It was disappointing, really. Why put a book in your wishlist, if you can't even answer when someone offers it to you?
Anyway, i've started a bookray (http://www.bookcrossing.com/forum/20/4673917/1). Let's see if this will work!

Woohoo!
Got the book today. Thanks.
I'd forgotten all about actually having read the book, so I'm gonna forward it to the next person in line.
Cash is low, so I'm gonna send it by the end of the month.
