Alias Grace

This is the story of a young servant girl in Canada who is imprisoned for murder. It's based on a true story. Although historically interesting, I think that Atwood does best when she's not bound by the limitations presented by a historical framework within which to work. However, she is still as creative as possible with the material that she has to work with.

RELEASE NOTES:
I'm not sure if I put the BCID number in this book. I didn't think it was Atwood's best work. Since it's based on a true story, I guess she didn't feel as if she could take as much creative license with it as she could have to make it more interesting.
