This book has been sitting in my shelf almost ten years, and I haven’t read it yet. Never will either. That’s no problem for me; I can always get another copy to read. We have pretty good library system in Finland and I just happen to live quite near (some say in ;)) the Tampere main library.
This copy is starting a new life as travelling book and it’s going to meet someone who has her birthday soon — and Graham Swift (well, books by him ;)) on her wishlist.
