Picked this up at Goodwill. I read it under a different title: Death and Judgement.
Editorial Reviews
Review
In beautiful, polluted Venice, Commisario Brunetti, a very human detective, is beavering away thanklessly at the murder on the train of a prominent lawyer and painstakingly finding a link with a glossy travel agency and dead prostitutes from the Balkans in a crashed lorry in the Dolomites. (Kirkus UK)
Product Description
When a lorry crashes on one of the treacherous hair-pin bends in the Italian Dolomites even Commissario Guido Brunetti of the Venice Questura is appalled when he learns of its terrible cargo. This is Donna Leon's fourth novel to feature Guido Brunetti.

I found this at the St. Andrews branch of the Charleston Library.
I really enjoyed the book. I wish that I could have started the series from the beginning. My favorite parts of the book was the interaction between the inspecter and his daughter. The mystery was good too but it centeredaround sexual slavery which I always find hard to read.
I left this propped up against the window outside the door.
I found this book in Lansing, MI, propped up outside Williams and Sonoma. I am thrilled to have found a Traveling Book! I was visiting Lansing for my aunt's (she's my best friend) 92nd birthday. I've not yet read the book - but carried it home to Gig Harbor, WA.
I love being a part of this! Thank you for leaving it where you did!
Now and I'm going to go join.....how fun!
