Caught 19 September 2021.
Logged later, because computer and internet access on vacation is not always as complete as we would like.
I caught this book in a Delray Beach Little Free Library. My father, whom I was visiting, frequently drove by the Little Free Library when visiting his best friend so knew exactly where to find it. It was a very well stocked Little Free Library.
As I was sifting through the offerings, having dropped off my previous contribution, my step-mother shouted from inside the car, "Is that 'The Namesake' by Jhumpa Lahiri?!!!" She identified it by spine alone from greater than 10 feet away amongs a jumble of other books; impressive! It was indeed the book and, further, when I took the book out I was greeted with the fact that it was a BookCrossing book (always a plus for me) and that the cover said "Now a major motion picture."
I happen to run a book club specifically for and devoted to movie books, so I decided to keep the book and read it as a Movie Book Club selection.
After I'm done with reading the book, since it was picked up on vacation, it will be dropped off on vacation as well. A vacation to where? We shall see!

I completed reading the book on 18 March 2023 and gave it a 4 out of 5 star review at The StoryGraph if you want to read my entire thoughts. https://app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/c7c83867-54d1-45a5-a546-9264c4bcfb29
I will be privately passing the book along to a friend from Chile (yes, the country) who mentioned wanting to read it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
My friend Laura is visiting the USA from her native, and home, Chile. She mentioned wanting to read the book, so I stuck it in USPS Priority Mail to get to her before her flight back to Chile. She should have it in her hands by Saturday latest, today being Wednesday but I missed the drop-off deadline.
I hope she will also log her capture and her thoughts on the book.
