This true cime novel is brilliantly written. Capote gives insight into the criminal mind. It is based on the murders of a family in Finney county Kansas in the late 50's. There was also a movie, taken largely from the book, staring Robert Blake. I however liked the book a lot better. I read it last year when I was a senior in highschool for an outside reading assignment and I throughly enjoyed it. I hope whoever discovers it will like it as well.
