Abomination
5 journalers for this copy...
BAM bookclub read for January 2009.
Will be starting a bookring for this one as well. I loved another book by this author Without a Trace.
What a fantastic read! It was really a page-turner with a great storyline.
01/02/2009 Our group of 7 Christian ladies all very much enjoyed this book. A christian thriller is one that we try to read about every 6 months. This book has a very strong message of forgiveness.

Well, I really like this one!
My first novel by Ms Coble, though I understand there is a whole series with the same setting, Rock Harbor... and I think, some of the characters.
"A beautiful woman stand by the side of the road, barefoot and bleeding, a child in her arms. Someone just tried to kill her, but she wouldn't recognize him if she saw his face. She doesn't even remember her own name."
This is a real page-turner; maybe a bit long, but thoroughly enjoyable...
I learned a lot about swans, and I am curious to find out whether geocachers really exist. If they do, they are quite similar to bookcrossers!
Very interesting forensic technicques of facial reconstruction, as well...
Thanks for sharing this one, Spaceystacey; it will soon be on its way to Sunfi.

This just arrived I have a number of other rings/rays ahead of it but I'll get it on its way as soon as I can. Thanks bookworm lady for mailing this to me and thanks spaceystacey for including me.
I'm not really a big fan of Christian fiction and this reinforced that for me. While the suspsense was good and the author is talented, I didn't care for the religious message at the end. A few of the loose ends weren't closed very well, I had the impression that it was a "God's Will" type of thing, because He wanted it that way, so be it. I'll have this off to the next reader in the next day or so.

What a page turner! I read this book in one sitting. I never had a clue who Gideon was. I want to try to find the The Rock Harbor series now. I really like this author's style. Sending on to next reader!
