Melanie and Fran's so-called friend Amanda is getting married. She is marrying Fraser for all the wrong reasons (his castle, his title, money...). They teamup with Fraser's brother Angus and friends to plot a way to stop the wedding. Also, Melanie's ex-boyfriend Alex returns from his unexplained departure to America. Delighted, she welcomes him back into her life even though he hasn't a job, is a drunk and isn't always there for her.
