I enjoyed this fantasy which started in this world and continued in the world of Fionavar. I especially liked how each character had his or her own skills to learn and challenges to overcome. I look forward to learning what happens next in the Fionavar Tapestry in The Wandering Fire.

Wow - that was fast. I just won this one in the BookObsessed Fantasy Swap. It looks interesting and I will put it into the read soon pile.

This got here today. I think because of the Christmas card included it was a paranormal Devils secret Santa gift?

I struggled with this book at first. I love this author normally. However it took me three times of picking it up and setting it down to get past the first hundred pages. I will say that after the first half of the book the pacing picked up and I really enjoyed it. I won't be reading books 3 & 3 right away, but I have a feeling they won't be as slow starting as this book was.
