Believe it or not, although this book did not have one female protagonist, I still enjoyed it. :) I guess my last contact with it was in high school, and I'm sure I could analyze it more critically now than I did then (Thanks SLU grad school!) but I know that it was an excellent commentary on the nature of society and it's effect on man. (i.e. "What happens when society's rules no longer apply?") A classic I would recommend to anyone. Up for grabs.
