Journal Entry 3 by trekwoman from -- Somewhere In The State --, California USA on Tuesday, August 11, 2009
When I was first introduced to this author's work, I didn't "get it". I was frustrated and in no mood to receive the message he wanted to impart. Now, though, I am ready. Sometimes things come back around for a reason.
Funny thing, I was annoyed by the style of writing in this book too. It's not to say that Coelho's message isn't one worth hearing; it is. Search for your true purpose and you'll find it. I suppose I just didn't need to follow the boy through the desert.
