received from my birthday partner. Thanks so much!!!!
Matt Hunter tried to break up a fight and ended up killing a person. He has served his time and married. Finally things seem to be on the right track. His wife, Olivia is pregnant and they will soon be closing on their dream house.
Olivia goes on an out-of-town job assignment and Matt gets a phone call showing Olivia in a hotel room with a man. It seems like his wife is cheating on him.
What follows is a twisting and turning story that says you can't leave your past behind. I did like this story but found there were too many characters. I also found that the last twist concerning Olivia was just a little bit too much. However it is also nice that a bad guy like Matt is one the reader is rooting for the whole story.

Matt Hunter tried breaking up a fight as a college student and unintentionally ended up killing another kid. He does his time in jail but comes a changed man. Eventually he finds himself a girlfriend and marries her. They purchase a home in Matt's old neighbourhood and his wife, Olivia, becomes pregnant. Everything seems to be going well. That's until Olivia leaves for a business trip and Matt gets a picture and video from her phone with a strange man in it. Matt investigates and wonders if his wife is cheating on him but it ends up being much more than that. There are multiple murders, a stripper connection, and many law enforcement/FBI become involved.
This book started off as quite a thriller however once the first twist came, which was about half way through, I felt that the book lost some steam. I'm not sure why but I think I would have enjoyed the book more if Coben had held off on the large plot twist for a bit longer. The remaining plot twists were pretty insignificant following that so I didn't care as much about them as the first one.

This book is back with me :)
My mom, AceofHearts, passed away from breast cancer on September 17, 2013. Aside from being one of the best people I know, she was an avid reader and took immense pleasure in Bookcrossing, her book club, and reading many great books.
Before she passed, she showed me all of her owed books and the books she wanted to give away as RABCKs, making sure that I would send everything on should anything happen. This book was marked for ababaigalit as a RABCK.

Well the book is safe in Israel. Thanks a lot for this RABCK. It was a total surprise for me, because it is true I haven't been a lot in this site, because of other hobbies that I have. I also started reading more books in hebrew. I hope that with this books maybe I will get back to reading and to bookcrossing.
Thanks for thinking of me.
I am sorry about your loss.
