This was a great find at the Thrift Store. Eight paperbacks for a dollar, can't beat that price! Going on my TBR pile.

The parts of this book I have read I have really enjoyed. Unfortunately I am just bogged down with books from rays/rings and my own TBR pile. While I enjoyed this book, for the most part, I felt it took a turn towards the absurd about 350 pages in or so. Events just kept piling on, each harder to believe than the one before.
I'm also wondering (after seeing the "Oprah's Book Club" logo on the cover) if incest, child sexual abuse and lesbian scenes are all required elements of an Oprah selection, because I could swear that every Oprah book I've read features at least two and sometimes all three.
